Meet all eight of us
We’re a family of eight figuring out how to make room for more adventure in real life. We’re Kristen and Jesse, parents to six kids, and somewhere along the way we realized that most of our best family memories happen when we get a little outside our normal routine.Sometimes that means getting on a plane. Sometimes it means hiking a trail a few hours from home, trying something new together, building something in the backyard or turning an ordinary day into an adventure. We’re not trying to collect countries or convince anyone that family life needs to look like ours.We’re just trying to say yes to more of the things we want to remember. And as we figure out how to make those things work with six kids in tow, we share what we learn here.
Jesse is an entrepreneur and marketer who loves big ideas, building things and finding ways to make ambitious plans actually happen. In 2017 Jesse build and later sold an Ad Agency. This was what kicked off the family's ability to work remotely.
Kristen is a former teacher turned homeschool (& worldschool) mom, lifelong trip planner and the person usually behind the camera. She loves finding the places worth going, figuring out exactly how to make them work with kids, and turning everyday experiences into opportunities to learn.
